Our Work
This 62,850 sq. ft. replacement school was completed on a Design-Build (DB) Construction Methodology. As part of this DB Team, we implemented a 'Fast Track' Model to deliver the project on-time and on-budget.
This collaborative and integrated DB process between Architect, General Contractor, Sub-consultants, Sub-contractors, and Specialists ensured that every building material was utilized to its maximum potential and construction waste, conflicts, and delays were minimized.
Inspired by the changing colours of the Canadian Maple Leaf
Collaboration, Communication, and Sensible Planning were our keys to the success of this project.
" We believe in the 'Psychology of Colour'. We use colour to enhance learning and influence mood in learning environments. Young Learners identify their classrooms with the colours of the Four Seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Rooms)."
- Keith Nunas, Principal
Green Architecture
“The project was designed as a LEED Silver building, but we were successful at achieving LEED Gold Certification.” Robert Derech, Director of Facilities - Elk Island Public Schools
